Cut Flowers that are Toxic to Cats

I often get asked at market which cut flowers are toxic for cats. Here’s a general list, but if I missed anything, please let me know. We love our cats around here!

-Lilies

-Carnations (dianthus)

-Chrysanthemums

-Dahlias

-Gladiolus

-Tulips

-Foxglove

-Sweet Peas

Some of these listed have varying information out there, so use your own judgment.

Pictured are our cats Cosmo and Gloria. They tolerate each other. Gloria is 12 and we got her when we lived in a city. She has no idea how to be outside, but is excellent at cuddling. Cosmo is 2 and a very adventurous outdoor cat.
