I’m a blast on a Friday night… ) Having healthy soil makes healthy plants, which produces more nutrient dense vegetables, and you get the health benefits. Your farmer has a huge passion for soil health! Did you know the nutrients in farm fresh vegetables are what makes them taste so delicious?Our soil prep process is a no till system. When we first broke ground, the soil was a compacted, thick, clay soil. Now it is lighter, sponge like, and full of life. Want to know more about our bed prep process? Ask away! I’m happy to answer your questions.Steps for prepping a bed are: 1. Broad fork 2. Add organic amendments, if needed 3. Add a layer of compost 4. Rake smooth 5. Seed or transplant into bed
