Winter Updates!

Often I’ll get asked, “What do you do in the winter?”

Here’s what I’ve been up to:

-Plan, plan, and more planning for the upcoming season with crop maps, seeding schedules, fertility schedule, and a whole lot more spreadsheets

-Set goals for the year and plan ways to reach those goals

-Clean and organize the shop

-Inventory our supplies and tools

-Bed prep whenever the weather permits

-Maintain our overwintering flowers in one of our hoop houses

-Fix broken fences

-Sleep like a normal person

-Learn through online and in person farm conferences

-Start seedlings

-Work on our taxes and get caught up in the office

-Create a new logo and update our website

-Meet with new wholesale customers

-Cuddle with our new puppy, Pete
